About Me:
I am a Counseling and Art Therapy intern with a focus on grief processing, anxiety,
depression, trauma, secondary/vicarious trauma, and caregiving challenges. I offer an
empathetic and person-centered approach utilizing an integration of cognitive, somatic,
and expressive arts therapy models. As I work towards completing my degree in
Clinical Counseling and Art Therapy, I am dedicated to supporting individuals on their
healing journeys and contributing to their personal growth.
Personal Philosophy:
I believe healing is a landscape of many possible paths, each shaped by the person
walking it. Every individual carries their own unique way of knowing, sensing, and
making meaning of the world we live in. My goal is to support you on your own unique
path and empower you with the tools and insights needed to cultivate a sense of well-
being and support you through life’s challenges.
Specialties and Areas of Focus:
• Greif Processing: Helping clients to navigate their loss, understand their
grieving process, and establish a path to work with the pain.
• Anxiety: Helping clients to identify thought patterns and establish coping
strategies to manage stress and anxiety.
• Trauma: Helping clients to understand the impact of traumatic
experiences, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward
meaningful healing.
Therapeutic Approach:
I am trained in both talk therapy and clinical art therapy and work to find the right
balance to help my clients reach their goals. My therapeutic approach integrates
Clinical Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment
Therapy (ACT), Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Somatic
Techniques tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. I believe in creating a
supportive and non-judgmental space where my clients can explore their thoughts,
emotions, feelings, and behaviors with support and guidance.
