Group Overview

Seeking 6-8 licensed therapists who can commit to a 12  week deep dive processing group. The group’s goal is to provide a confidential space for group members to examine intimidating aspects of themselves that may be difficult to address with colleagues at the professional level. The group structure will be non-traditional- two members volunteering for the first hour to complete a “mock”  session as the group watches, and then the second hour of process reactions to the interaction.

About the Group Leader

Max Dahmen, LCSW is the owner of Life Empowered Therapy Services. He received his Master’s in Social Work in 2014 from the University of Utah. Max’s theoretical framework is based in Attachment, Social Evolution, and Object Relations. They line up with his Level 1 IFS training, and his understanding of Polyvagal based interventions. He is passionate about working with therapist patients, complicated trauma responses, and damaged attachment reactions. 

Details

Wrangling therapists together can be a difficult task.  This closed group will begin Tuesday Apr 8, 2025 and meet at 4 pm to 6 pm weekly until its completion on Tuesday July 1st, 2025. We are looking for committed individuals that will be able to make the times work to maintain the efficacy of the group. 

Requirements: 

-Have an active license to practice mental health therapy, preference will go to fully licensed individuals. (License will be verified)

-Is currently working in some capacity as a mental health provider. 

-The participant will be able to identify a clear intention on the part of themselves that they want to focus on during the free consultation call. 

-Attend groups on time and are  prepared to practice vulnerability. 

Cost: $1300 with a mandatory $700 non-refundable deposit to hold a spot in the group. Participants that can pay the full amount upfront will be deducted $100 of the total cost.
