Luci HOLLINGSHEAD, ACMHC
Therapist
American Fork Office
About Me:
I am an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor with experience helping clients navigate
anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and difficult life transitions. My approach to
therapy is compassionate and collaborative, grounded in the belief that meaningful change
begins with awareness. What if many of the ways you cope with life that were once adaptive
and protective actually no longer serve you in the present? Through mindfulness and trauma
informed work, therapy can create space to step out of old patterns, respond to life with greater
intention, and feel more empowered in your own story.
Personal Philosophy:
I believe that healing and growth happens when we feel safe enough to explore our experiences
with curiosity rather than judgment. Therapy can help us gently understand our patterns and
create new ones that allow for greater freedom and empowerment. My goal is to help you
reconnect with your strengths, grow from your experiences, and build the confidence to move
forward with greater clarity and self-trust.
Specialties and Areas of Focus:
• Anxiety and depression disorders: Together we’ll work to better understand the patterns,
thoughts, and experiences that contribute to these feelings while developing practical tools to
help you regain balance and a sense of control.
• Challenging life transitions: Find awareness, meaning, and a renewed sense of direction
during times of change.
• Trauma & Emotional Healing: Difficult experiences can leave lasting imprints on how we think,
feel, and relate to others. I help clients process these experiences in a safe and supportive way
so they no longer have the same power over daily life.
Therapeutic Approach:
My therapeutic approach integrates mindfulness practices that open possibility, empowerment
and conscious choice, tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. I believe in creating
a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and
behaviors with support and guidance.
Experience and Education:
• Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University
• Licensed in Utah, Associate License #11534303-6009
What to Expect in Therapy:
In our sessions, you can expect a collaborative and supportive space where your experiences
are respected and your goals matter. We will work together to better understand what you are
facing, identify meaningful goals, and develop tools that help you navigate challenges with
greater confidence and resilience. Therapy isn’t about fixing you. It’s about having a supportive
space to explore your experiences, make sense of what you’ve been through, and move
forward in a way that feels more aligned with who you want to be.
