About Me:

I am an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor with experience in treating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, ADHD, OCD, relationship challenges, and navigating faith transitions. My approach to therapy is client-centered, evidence-based, and tailored to your unique needs. I strive to create a safe environment where clients can connect with their truest, most authentic selves and explore meaningful change. I am dedicated to helping my clients achieve personal goals and improve their overall well-being.

Personal Philosophy: I am a humanistic-existential therapist who believes in the importance of helping clients discover meaning and purpose in their lives and take values-based actions. I believe that awareness leads to choice, and choice leads to change. My work focuses on treating the whole person, recognizing the dynamics of the larger systems in which we live. I believe in the strength and resilience of every individual and am passionate about empowering my clients on their journey toward growth and emotional healing.

Specialties and Areas of Focus:

– ADHD: Supporting clients in managing challenges related to attention, focus, and executive functioning while building skills to enhance daily life.

– Anxiety/Depression: Helping clients understand and address the root causes of emotional distress, while developing tools for resilience and self-compassion.

– Relationship Issues: Guiding clients to navigate relational challenges, improve communication, and strengthen connection with themselves and others.

Therapeutic Approach: My therapeutic approach integrates Internal Family Systems Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based CBT. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and trauma with support and guidance. Together, we work to uncover patterns, gain awareness, and foster lasting change.

Experience and Education:

– Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University

– Licensed in Utah (#13998803-6009)
