Dr. Huntsman-Jones is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and is certified
as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). She is originally from rural Oregon and
received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oregon Health Sciences University in
1995. In 2005, she received a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah
with an emphasis in Community Health and Nursing Education. After teaching college
students for many years, she decided to attend the University of Massachusetts in
Boston to receive her FNP certification in 2020. This certification was followed by a
Doctorate in Nursing Practice from New Mexico State University in 2023.

Dr. Huntsman-Jones is passionate about working with marginalized and underserved
populations. She has worked in a variety of settings and has experience in mental
health, women’s health, pediatrics, community health, family practice, occupational
health, and as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner.

As a nurse practitioner, Dr. Huntsman-Jones believes in treating the whole person and
will evaluate both medical and mental health concerns as they often interact with each
other. She believes that both areas should be treated together and not in isolation. She
can offer medication management, diagnosis, medical treatment options, and referrals
as needed. She has experience in treating both adult and pediatric patients.
