About Me

I am a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern providing support to individuals ages thirteen and up, as well as couples. As I work towards completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I am passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges with compassion and evidence-based care. 

Personal Philosophy

I believe that each person has the ability to heal, grow, and build resilience. My role as a therapist is to walk alongside my clients, offering empathy, support, and practical tools. I strive to create a collaborative, safe space where clients can feel empowered to face challenges and move toward lasting change.

Therapeutic Approach

I take an individualized, client-centered approach that recognizes the unique needs of each client. My work draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Feminist/Multicultural Therapy (F/MT) to provide a flexible, supportive framework for growth and healing.

Experience and Education

• Currently completing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) at the University of Utah 
• EMDR Basic Trained
• Experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and identity exploration
